  1. Honestly, I don't see how you keep Creon Reed off that list. He deserves to be in the top 20 somewhere between 10-20. The kid has a Division 1 scholarship from Texas State, has interest from other D1 schools, was the 2nd highest scoring player in 4A at 21.5 ppg only behind Kody Ingle, averaged 5.7 assists per game, 4.5 steals per game on a team where he barely had any help. No way in my opinion does he just miss the top 30, and should be ranked no less than the #17 spot.

  2. Harrison should stay at Ames nothing else for him to prove. Already ranked #1 small foward in the nation 2010

  5. This list makes me laugh very hard. Quincy King above Branden Stubbs??? AJ Derby at 14??? Derby is better than Dykstra, Heemstra, and this random Nate Buss. No Sandquist on the list? But you have Will Artino??? ha and Creon Reed not on the list?? Besides Barnes and McCabe at 1 and 2 this list is terrible. sorry guys but you should spend a little more time scouting!

  6. Watched Derby shoot 3/16 this past season. He doesn't look for his teammates, doesn't know how the floor is spread, just drives and shoots wether he is open or not! Not a great team player

  7. Get off AJ he wil have more D1 football scholarships then all this class combined in basketball besides Barnes. Sorry AJ you lost your B BAll skills a bit. But your are still the Boss of the football class.

  10. Just curious if the gentleman commenting on the top 30 has seen Dykstra, Heemstra and Buss play at all.

  11. Where is Jody McDowell from?

  12. I think this list factors in "upside" on each player...some of the kids being questioned by comments above have quite a bit of it (see Will Artino for example), others have already 'peaked' and won't develop their skills much beyond where they are at now.

    JMHO

  14. Kody Ingle Had 35 Points against Dowling Catholic with their 6'2" PF gaurding him all night I honestly believe he should be in the top 5. Note Southeast Polk won the game 64 to 62.
